ExpectationsThis course is designed as a college-level European history class and, as such, independence and self-motivation are imperative. While there is important work to be done on your own, above all this class is a community. Each member of this community benefits from the intellectual contributions, support, and encouragement of other members. I ask that you respect all members of this community by coming to class prepared and putting in the necessary time and effort to help us all succeed.
Late work & make-up work after an absence: Late work will not be accepted unless special arrangements have been made with the instructor. If you miss school for any reason you are expected to turn in assignments you missed in a timely manner (one extra day for every day of school you missed). Grading
